We started the driveway resealing by first of all jet washing the surface with a mild detergent to remove all dirt and algae etc. We also appled a mild acid. This is an appropriate way to ensure all dirt, grime, oil and grease is removed as well as all traces of the original sealant. This is essential to do before the new sealant is applied. Once this had been done, we touched up a few blemishes that were on the surface.
The next stage of driveway resealing in Wythenshawe was to apply two coats of a mid-sheen sealant with anti-skid. The sealant reinvigorates the colour and pattern in the concrete giving it depth and definition and enhancing the quality of the colour. You can see from the photographs that the driveway resealing has brought out the platinum and charcoal colours. It also restores the lovely shine to the surface without making it slippery.
